Mid-Level and Senior Draftsmen with Interior Design

Job Description

• Produce detailed technical drawings, layout plans, and construction drawings based on design concepts.
• Prepare 2D drawings in AutoCAD and assist with 3D visuals when required.
• Work closely with Interior Designers, Project Managers, and Contractors to ensure accurate design execution.
• Update drawings based on feedback, design changes, and site conditions.
• Ensure drawings meet industry standards, building codes, and client requirements.
• Assist in material specifications, measurements, and documentation for project submissions.
• Support project coordination activities, including site visits when necessary.
• For Senior Level:
• Lead drafting tasks for multiple projects.
• Review and check drawings prepared by junior draftsmen.
• Provide design input and technical guidance to the team.

• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (must), SketchUp, and basic 3D rendering tools is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of space planning, detailing, and construction methods.
• Minimum experience:
• Mid-Level: 3–5 years in drafting for interior design projects.
• Senior Level: 5+ years with capability to lead and review drawings.
• Good communication skills and ability to work closely with designers and contractors.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines.
