The Financial Analyst I (FA1) is a production-based, introductory operational role within clients’ vendor compliance service. The FA1 is responsible for reviewing credit and reputational risk related to our clients’ vendors. Information provided by the vendor and other publicly available data is analyzed and summarized in a report which will later assist the client in analyzing the vendor’s overall risk.

Essential Functions
1. Review publicly available information to identify credit or reputational risk of our clients’ vendors.
2. Analyze annual and quarterly financial statements for indications of credit risk.
3. Draft and edit concise reports that convey salient financial and reputational information in an easy to read and understand format.
4. Cross-train to backfill other roles within the financial compliance team.

2. Ability to grasp complex information and condense it into easy-to-understand summaries

6. Intermediate MS Office knowledge, including Excel, Word, and Outlook

Prior working experience a candidate should have.
• 1-2 years of accounting/financial experience
• Experience in drafting/editing financial reports
Education requirements
A. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business OR
B. Bachelor’s degree (any major) with 1-2 years of experience in accounting, financial analytics, or related field.

Technical requirements
• Consistent access to internet speeds of a minimum 100mbps

Work Schedule
10PM - 7AM Manila Time M- F, can discuss possibility of transitioning to local time after training is complete.
