Job Description: We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Officer to join our Sydney finance team working from the Philippines. This role is responsible for processing vendor invoices, staff reimbursements, and payment transactions for our operation in Australia. The ideal candidate will be experienced in international AP operations, vendor communication, and working across multiple currencies and time zones.
Responsibilities: - Process and record supplier invoices ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and tax regulations (e.g., GST).
- Perform 2-way matching of purchase orders and vendor invoices to validate charges before posting.
- Manage and process staff expense claims Credit card, Weel (virtual debit card) and Uber transactions, including verification of receipts and policy compliance.
- Prepare data uploads and reconciliation between our Accounts Payable Subledger (Tipalti) and our main accounting system (WorkBook)
- Reconcile vendor statements, investigate discrepancies, and resolve payment issues or disputes in a timely manner.
Qualifications: - Minimum 2 years of AP experience in a multinational or regional shared services environment.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written, reading and verbal in English
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
- Ability to work collaboratively across time zones and cultural backgrounds.
Work Location - Home-based
- Should have strong internet connection (minimum of 20 mbps)
- Should have own Laptop/PC (minimum of i5 8GB RAM)
