About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Investment Operations Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing investment accounting, reconciliations, and financial operations across multiple portfolios. You will work with high-volume financial data, ensuring accuracy and compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has a strong background in investment accounting, advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO), and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily and monthly account reconciliations across multiple accounts or portfolios.
  • Perform investment accounting and reconciliation, ensuring alignment with custodian data and investment vehicles.
  • Process and reconcile high-volume financial data with a high level of accuracy.
  • Maintain general accounting functions and ensure compliance with financial operations standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting and operational workflows.
  • Manage multiple priorities, timelines, and workflows simultaneously using strong project management skills.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies through analytical problem-solving.
  • Support process improvement and operational workflow optimization initiatives.
  • Liaise with financial institutions, custodians, or banking partners as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records within QBO and other financial systems.
Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience, with significant exposure to investment accounting and financial operations.
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Investment accounting and reconciliation
    • Investment vehicles and custodian data
    • Financial operations
    • General accounting principles
  • Proven experience managing daily and monthly account reconciliations across multiple accounts or portfolios.
  • Experience handling high-volume financial data while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and workflows simultaneously.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)
  • Experience working with Donor-Advised Funds (DAF).
  • Experience in non-profit accounting.
  • Experience using investment tracking software.
  • Experience working with centralized ticketing or operational request management systems.
  • Familiarity with grant payment processing, grant posting, and grant reconciliation workflows.
  • Experience managing data integrations from banking platforms, customer portals, or other external financial systems.
  • Experience collaborating directly with financial institutions, custodians, or banking partners.
  • Exposure to process improvement or operational workflow optimization initiatives.
Success Metrics
  • Reconciliation accuracy – All accounts reconciled without material discrepancies
  • Timeliness – Daily and monthly reconciliations completed within required timeframes
  • Data integrity – High-volume financial data processed accurately and consistently
  • Process improvement – Identified and implemented workflow optimizations
  • Stakeholder satisfaction – Clear communication and collaboration across teams
