Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused multitasker with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude to join our logistics team. This role is responsible for customer service, export documentation, bookings, and administrative support to ensure shipments are processed efficiently and customers receive timely, accurate information.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly and professionally to customer inquiries.
  • Keep customers informed regarding shipment status, timelines, and documentation.
  • Track orders to ensure timely delivery and proactively resolve any issues.
  • Prepare, issue, and review shipping and export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and related paperwork.
  • Request, review, and coordinate Ocean Bills of Lading (OBLs) with shipping lines.
  • Coordinate bookings, transportation, and logistics with carriers, freight forwarders, and shipping lines.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer requirements, orders, and shipments.
  • Provide document copies and shipment details to customers as needed.
  • Support daily administrative tasks such as data entry, correspondence, scheduling, and filing.
  • Cross-train in related logistics functions (truck scheduling, bookings, customer service) to provide team coverage.`
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency in order fulfillment.
  • Assist management with special projects or tasks as needed.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in customer service, logistics, documentation, or administrative roles preferred (training provided for the right candidate).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with logistics software or transportation management systems is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Completion of a required skills test as part of the application process.
