Position Title:
Business AnalystWork Arrangement: Remote / Hybrid - Malaysia
Schedule: Mondays - Fridays/ 40hrs per week
About the RoleAs a Business Analyst, you’ll play a key role in shaping product direction by analysing, documenting, and communicating functional and technical requirements in the form of detailed acceptance criteria. You’ll partner closely with the Product team and the Development team to help deliver solutions that genuinely benefit our customers.
Responsibilities-
- Develop and demonstrate understanding of Construction Management systems - its features and functions.
- Work closely with the Product, Development and QA teams to analyse user stories and use cases to develop detailed and thorough acceptance criteria.
- Schedule and facilitate workshops with Product or SME’s (as required) to further refine requirements to ensure every use case is captured.
- Contribute to the design of new features and work with the Development team to break the design down.
- Analyse existing systems to determine accurate impact analysis as a result of changes or new features being introduced.
- Act as a conduit between the Development Team and Product Team, to clarify questions when raised.
- Collaborating with developers to address technical requirements
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), incorporating feedback from stake holders to enhance system usability
- Conduct Business Acceptance Testing, specifically, a non-exhaustive set of functional tests of the most important business functions to validate the business functions meet customer requirements as designed and that the software is of sufficient quality and stability to proceed with further downstream testing, namely no known Critical or Urgent issues
Requirements - 3+ years experience working as a Business Analyst in complex technology environments, preferably within the Construction Management or Project Management industry.
- Strong technical literacy - able to read and discuss code-level concepts (you don’t have to code, but you get it).
- Experience working directly with Product, Development and QA teams using agile methodologies.
- Strong management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyse existing systems for impact analysis and change management.
- Analyse use cases and user stories to create detailed and thorough acceptance criteria to cover all possible scenarios
- Experience with Jira, or similar agile tooling.
- Comfortable leveraging AI in your day-to-day work
