We are looking for a highly proficient Draftsman to support our engineering and estimating teams with 3D modeling and production drawings.

We are looking for a highly proficient Draftsman to support our engineering and estimating teams with 3D modeling and production drawings.

Responsibilities:

Produce 3D models and production/technical drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
Create: Production drawings, Technical drawings, Installation manual assets and 2D layouts as required
Work with and maintain drawings in Autodesk Vault and AutoCAD (2D layouts and related tasks)
Learn and use the client's in‐house software tools, including Roof Configurator and Buildon / Builda (2D‐oriented tooling)
Generate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) from production drawings (quantities, components, materials, etc.).
Collaborate closely with internal engineering, estimating, and operations teams.
Ensure all drawings and models meet quality, accuracy, and documentation standards.
Follow internal processes, naming conventions, and version control practices.

Qualifications:

Strong, proven proficiency as a draftsman/drafting engineer (highly proficient level).
Hands‑on experience with Autodesk Inventor (primary tool) and AutoCAD
Demonstrated experience producing: 3D models, Production and technical drawings and 2D layouts
Experience creating and managing Bills of Materials (BOMs) from drawings.
Background in construction design or a closely related field (e.g., architectural/structural/industrial drafting)
Strong English proficiency (written and spoken) for daily communication with the internal team
Highly detailed‑oriented, organized, and able to follow established standards and workflows.
Autodesk Vault (highly preferred)
Prior exposure to roofi ng, construction systems, or architectural metal products (or similar) (Nice to have)
Must be willing to work from M to F, 4pm to 1am
