The HR Lead is responsible for the end to end execution of core HR processes, including payroll, benefits administration, employee engagement initiatives, disciplinary management, and HR reporting. Working closely with the VP of HR, this role also supports strategic workforce planning, project execution, and the delivery of regional HR initiatives across LATAM.

About the Role:- Onboarding - Draft and issue job offer documents and facilitate discussions with candidates.
- Conduct new hire orientation and oversee the handover to assigned clients.
- Manage pre-employment requirements, including collection, tracking, and secure filing.
- Ensure accurate data entry into the HR system.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires, addressing inquiries promptly.
- Handles the encoding of employee information into the HR System .
- Leads all communications to new hired staff and ensures that all employee concerns are addressed either through email/chat/call as needed.
- Enroll candidates in Checkmate (when applicable) for police background checks and follow up as needed to ensure timely completion of the screening process.
- Employee Engagement - Implement virtual and in-person employee engagement activities.
- Monitor and summarize employee feedback to provide actionable insights.
- Manage internal communications and staff advisories.
- Collaborate with the Global Engagement Lead to manage budgets, source vendors, and coordinate logistics for company events.
- Compliance & Reporting - Maintain accurate physical and electronic personnel files.
- Ensure all employee data in the HR system is current.
- Prepare regulatory reports and advise management on regional statutory requirements.
- Payroll & Benefits - Manage benefits inquiries and facilitate healthcare enrollment, when applicable.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing.
- Coordinate with internal and external partners to maintain up-to-date pay and benefits information.
- Monitor timesheets and time-tracking systems to ensure all records are submitted, reviewed, and updated on time for payroll processing.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and related HR matters, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of questions and concerns.
- Offboarding - Manage the end-to-end offboarding process, including documentation and exit interviews.
- Analyze and report on attrition drivers and separation data.
- Discipline Management - Policy Enforcement & Compliance: Communicate and uphold the organization's code of conduct, ensuring all actions align with legal requirements and internal policies.
- Investigations & Conflict Resolution: Conduct unbiased investigations into behavioral violations. This includes gathering documentation, interviewing involved parties, and mediating conflicts.
- Progressive Discipline Administration: Implement appropriate disciplinary measures (e.g., verbal warnings, written reprimands, suspensions, enrollment to PIP, etc) to correct inappropriate behavior fairly and consistently.
- Guidance & Support: Advise management and employees on resolving conflicts while helping the disciplined individual understand the consequences and outlining clear paths for improvement.
- Reporting & Analytics: Track disciplinary trends and prepare statistical reports for senior leadership to recommend actionable cultural or structural improvements.
- General Support - Provide administrative support and resolve employee concerns via email, chat, or phone.
- Contribute to HR process improvement initiatives.
- Assist with office management and administrative tasks during client visits.
- Ensure accurate enrollment of new hires in all work systems (e.g., PULSE, Outsourced University, DEEL).
- Manage all invoices and communications with WeWork Facilities and forward all relevant documentation to the Finance team for processing.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team on announcements and key event visuals.
- Assist with internal HR projects and perform other duties as assigned.
You’re a Great Fit If You: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years as an HR Generalist.
- Expert knowledge in payroll, compensation, and benefits administration.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Experience managing strategies from concept to implementation.
- Ability to work independently and manage complex tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in maintaining organized digital and physical records.
- Proven experience in a multinational environment with excellent English proficiency.
- Familiarity with Global HRIS and Payroll systems; AI literacy is an advantage.
