Job Description
We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst who will act as a bridge between Operations, IT, and Finance, with a strong focus on Microsoft 365 and process improvement. This role is responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing technology-driven solutions (especially within the Microsoft ecosystem and other SaaS tools) to increase productivity and automation across the company.
Key Responsibilities - Microsoft 365 Ownership
- Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 tools: Teams, SharePoint, Planner, Lists, OneDrive, Power Automate, Power Apps (nice to have).
- Design, configure, and maintain SharePoint sites (structure, permissions, document libraries, metadata, views).
- Implement Teams channels, governance, and best practices for collaboration.
- Process Analysis & Improvement
- Work closely with Operations, Finance, Accounting, and Project Management teams to understand current workflows and pain points.
- Map existing processes (SOPs, workflows) and propose improvements, automations, and tool changes.
- Evaluate and recommend software solutions (e.g., AP automation tools, project management platforms, accounting system migration to cloud).
- Automation & Integration
- Build and maintain workflows and automations using Power Automate and other integration tools.
- Connect different systems (e.g., AP automation, accounting software, project management tools, property management platforms) to reduce manual work and double entry.
- Support the migration from legacy/on-premise systems to cloud-based solutions where applicable.
- AP Automation & Finance Support
- Analyze the current AP automation process and recommend tools or enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with the accounting/bookkeeping team to streamline billing, purchase orders, bank reconciliations, and reporting processes.
- AI & New Technology Adoption
- Research and propose AI-powered tools and workflows to streamline and speed up processes, documentation, reporting, or data analysis.
- Evaluate and implement solutions such as 360° camera + AI platforms for construction site monitoring and progress tracking.
- Explore new project management and accounting software solutions to increase efficiency and consolidate processes.
- Project Implementation & Training
- Lead small-to-medium implementation projects: tool selection, configuration, pilot, rollout.
- Prepare clear documentation, user guides, and SOPs.
- Deliver training sessions (one-to-one or group) and ongoing support to internal users.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in a similar role: Business Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, Process Analyst, MS 365 Specialist, or equivalent.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Planner, Lists, OneDrive).
- Practical experience with Power Automate (and ideally Power Apps/Power BI).
- Experience evaluating and implementing SaaS tools (AP automation, project management, accounting or ERP, etc.).
- Understanding of integrations, APIs, and basic data flows between systems.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) and ability to work with non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to analyze business processes and propose technology-based improvements.
- Experience developing process workflows and SOPs.
- Experience in construction, property management, or related industries (Nice to have)
