Job Description
Overview We are seeking an experienced Automation QA Engineer to join our team and take ownership of quality assurance across our cloud-based applications. This role requires someone who can hit the ground running, contribute immediately, and operate effectively in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites
- Execute functional, regression, and integration testing across cloud environments
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure quality across the SDLC
- Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution
- Support rapid release cycles and ensure deadlines and quality standards are consistently met
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies
- Work with modern AI-assisted development tools to enhance testing efficiency and coverage
- Act as a QA orchestrator, working within established QA processes to reduce manual effort across the team by introducing and scaling AI-driven approaches
- Continuously improve and evolve existing AI-enabled QA workflows, incrementally increasing speed, efficiency, and overall team productivity
Required Skills & Experience - Minimum 3+ years of experience in QA, with a strong focus on automation in cloud environments
- Proven experience with Playwright (Selenium acceptable, but Playwright strongly preferred)
- Exposure to agentic AI tools such as Codex, Claude, or similar
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with tight release schedules
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate issues and collaborate across teams
Desirable - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test integration
- Familiarity with modern cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience working in agile/scrum teams
