The Role
We are looking for a Front-End Developer to join their growing engineering team and help build modern mobile applications in a fast-paced startup-style environment.
This role is ideal for developers who enjoy ownership, pace, problem-solving, and working closely with collaborative product and engineering teams to ship impactful products quickly.
The team is looking for someone who is adaptable, curious, AI-forward in how they work, and excited to contribute beyond just writing code.
Key Responsibilities - Build and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native
- Work with modern mobile app architectures and client-side data management
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams in a highly iterative environment
- Integrate realtime functionality and responsive user experiences
- Contribute to scalable UI systems and reusable component libraries
- Ramp up quickly on an existing codebase and become a productive contributor early
- Use AI-assisted development workflows and tooling to accelerate delivery and improve productivity
- Take ownership of features from development through to release
Required Skills & Experience - Strong experience with React Native (must be native mobile experience, not only React web)
- Experience with Expo or similar React Native tooling
- Experience working with client-side data stores such as WatermelonDB or similar
- Experience working with realtime technologies such as Phoenix Channels, WebSockets, or similar
- Strong understanding of UI design systems and component-based architecture
Preferred Experience - One or more of the following: - Experience with Elixir/BEAM
- Backend or full-stack development experience
- Strong ability to rapidly learn new technologies and frameworks
- Ideal Candidate
- Upper-level mid-weight engineer with strong hands-on capability
- Comfortable working in startup-style environments with speed, ownership, and ambiguity
- Proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented
- Strong communicator and collaborative team player
- Able to quickly learn, contribute independently, and move fast without heavy oversight
- Passionate about building quality products and improving engineering workflows
Work Schedule - Monday - Friday 6AM – 3PM/7AM-4PM PH Time
