Position Overview We are seeking an SAP S/4HANA Analytics Expert to build analytics solutions in the Embedded Analytics environment using
Key User or
Developer Extensibility capabilities. This role requires basic understanding of SAP business processes to translate client requirements into real-time analytical insights.
Key Responsibilities: - Design custom analytics using SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics and Key User Extensibility tools
- Create Custom CDS Views, Analytical Queries, and multidimensional reports via SAP Fiori apps
- Leverage SAP HANA Virtual Data Model with released CDS views following Stability Contracts
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into analytics aligned with workflows
- Build and Manage KPIs & Reports and Smart Business KPIs
- Maintain extension lifecycles through transport management and extensibility inventory
Required Qualifications: Technical Skills (Required) - Key User Extensibility: Hands-on experience with Custom CDS Views, Analytical Queries, Query Browser
- CDS Views: Creating views using released data sources with proper annotations and data categories
- Fiori Apps: Proficiency with SAP Fiori analytical applications and embedded analytics tools
- Data Modeling: Understanding of Virtual Data Model, CUBE/FACT/DIMENSION categories, Stability Contracts
- SAP HANA: Knowledge of optimization and code pushdown principles
Technical Skills (Preferred) - ABAP Development Tools and Eclipse-based CDS development
- ABAP Cloud and RESTful Application Programming Model
- Developer Extensibility capabilities for complex scenarios
- SAC integration and OData services
Business Knowledge - Basic understanding of SAP functional modules and integration points
- Familiarity with core processes: Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Plan-to-Produce
- Ability to map analytics requirements to functional areas
- Understanding of operational analytics and real-time decision-making
Communication & Problem-Solving - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication bridging technical and business stakeholders
- Requirements gathering with attention to functional context
Core Competencies - Creating Custom CDS Views from released data sources only
- Building queries with correct data categories supporting ANALYTICAL_QUERY capability
- Understanding API release states and managing transported extensions
- CDS authorization objects and S/4HANA security concepts
- Training business users on self-service analytics capabilities
- Ensuring compliance with SAP extensibility guidelines and best practices
