Senior Fullstack DeveloperWork Arrangement: Remote - India
About the Role We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Contract) to drive the development of core product capabilities across our modern cloud-based platform.
This is a hands-on, high-impact engineering role focused on building scalable backend services and modern web applications that directly support mission-critical emergency operations. You will contribute to architectural decisions, deliver production-grade solutions, and help lift engineering quality across the platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Software Engineering & Architecture● Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using C# and .NET on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
● Build modern, responsive front-end applications using React and TypeScript
● Develop and maintain APIs and distributed services supporting real-time operational data
● Contribute to system design and architectural decision-making
Cloud & Platform Delivery● Implement and optimise cloud-native services across GCP
● Ensure reliability, scalability, security, and performance of production systems
● Apply best practices for cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and deployment
Quality & Collaboration● Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code aligned to engineering standards
● Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
● Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering peers to deliver
customer-focused outcomes
Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement● Diagnose and resolve complex production and performance issues
● Proactively identify areas for technical improvement and system resilience
● Evaluate new technologies where they add measurable value
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
- 8+ years professional software engineering experience
- Strong expertise in C#/.NET backend development
- Proven experience building modern web applications with React and TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience designing APIs and distributed systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capability
- Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-moving delivery environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
