The Role We are looking for a Mid-Level System Administrator to manage and support our on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in server administration, virtualization, storage systems, and patch management, with exposure to automation tools as a plus.
Key Responsibilities: - Administer and maintain Windows-based servers and overall server infrastructure
- Manage and support VMware environments (provisioning, maintenance, troubleshooting)
- Oversee storage systems, particularly Pure Storage (SAN)
- Support and maintain Cisco UCS infrastructure
- Perform regular patching and updates across servers and systems using tools like WSUS
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security
- Assist in managing and supporting cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure)
- Troubleshoot system issues and perform root cause analysis
- Maintain system documentation, configurations, and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects and improvements
Qualifications: - 3–5 years of experience in system administration or a related role
- Strong experience with Windows Server administration
- Hands-on experience with VMware virtualization
- Experience managing SAN storage, preferably Pure Storage
- Familiarity with Cisco UCS systems
- Experience with patch management tools (e.g., WSUS)
- Basic knowledge or exposure to cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and documentation skills
Nice to Have: - Experience with automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform
- Scripting or programming knowledge (e.g., Python, REST APIs/GET requests)
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) practices
- Relevant certifications (e.g., VMware, Microsoft, AWS, or Azure)
Work Schedule: 11:00 PM - 8:00 AM PHT
Work Setup: Home-based
