Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Lead / Product Owner to join a growing technology-driven vehicle rental business. This is a highly autonomous, hands-on technical leadership role spanning software development, automation, architecture, and DevOps. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable writing production code, building low-code/no-code automations, managing infrastructure, and challenging technical assumptions to help shape the company's product and technology roadmap.
Working Location: Home-based setup
Work Schedule: 08:00AM - 5:00PM (ICT)
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the technical architecture and evolution of the company's technology ecosystem, translating business objectives into practical technical solutions
- Design, build, and maintain the end-to-end client/partner journey platform - franchise-ready and built for scale
- Design and implement business process automations using platforms such as n8n and GoHighLevel (or similar automation tools)
- Take ownership of core DevOps responsibilities, including CI/CD, deployments, monitoring, and system reliability, with support from an offshore engineer
- Build and maintain integrations and APIs connecting internal systems and third-party platforms
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools (specifically Claude) to accelerate delivery and productivity
- Work closely with the Product Owner/Strategist to translate business priorities into technical requirements and implementation plans
- Provide leadership visibility into organizational performance and setup from an expansion/franchise readiness perspective
- Determine when a low-code/no-code solution is appropriate versus when a custom-coded solution is required
- Progressively reduce reliance on legacy/third-party platforms through custom-built solutions
Must-Have: - 7+ years' experience in software engineering, technical leadership, solutions architecture, or a closely related field
- Hands-on experience with n8n, GoHighLevel, or similar automation tools
- Solid DevOps and API experience
- Experience working with AI tools, specifically Claude
- Coding ability in any language (this role is primarily no-code/low-code, so deep coding expertise is not required, but foundational coding skill is expected)
- Background in a startup or small, agile setup - not primarily a corporate/enterprise environment
- Excellent English communication skills.
Nice-to-Have: - Experience integrating rental, booking, CRM, payment, or travel-related systems
- Experience replacing legacy platforms with custom-built applications
- Experience managing or mentoring offshore developers or technical teams
- Familiarity with Webflow, Figma, Notion, or similar platforms
- Comfortable working with minimal oversight in a fast-moving, resource-lean environment
