About the Role We are a growing Australian food manufacturing company supplying supermarkets, airlines, and retail channels nationwide. We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Logistics & Purchasing Coordinator to support daily operations across customer order processing, freight coordination, inventory management, and purchasing.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced FMCG environment, enjoys working with systems and processes, and takes pride in maintaining operational accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities Logistics & Order Coordination - Process and enter customer orders accurately and on time
- Manage orders received through email and supermarket portals
- Validate customer purchase orders against Fishbowl system totals, including:
- Pricing
- Quantities
- Units of measure
- Coordinate and book local and interstate freight
- Prepare dispatch documentation, including:
- Delivery dockets
- Shipping labels
- ASN documentation
- Liaise closely with warehouses and transport providers
- Ensure orders are dispatched and delivered within required timelines
Inventory & Systems Management - Work daily within Fishbowl Inventory
- Manage and monitor:
- Sales orders
- Transfer orders
- Stock movements
- Verify stock availability against customer orders and production schedules
- Maintain accurate inventory and freight system records
- Assist in identifying discrepancies and resolving inventory issues promptly
Purchasing & Procurement Support - Raise purchase orders within Fishbowl
- Follow up with suppliers regarding delivery schedules
- Track incoming stock and supplier timelines
- Support procurement activities to minimise stock shortages and production delays
Process Improvement & Accuracy - Follow structured workflows, SOPs, and operational checklists
- Ensure high accuracy with no missed orders or dispatch errors
- Identify and escalate system, process, or operational issues proactively
What We're Looking For Essential Skills & Attributes - Highly organised with strong time management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working with systems, data, and operational processes
- Able to follow structured workflows consistently
- Strong communication and coordination skills with:
- Warehouses
- Suppliers
- Freight and transport providers
Required Experience - Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain operations
- Experience using inventory or order management systems
- Background in freight booking and logistics coordination
- Experience raising and managing purchase orders
- Fishbowl Inventory experience is highly preferred, but not required
Work Location - Home-based
- Should have strong internet connection (minimum of 20 mbps)
- Should have own Laptop/PC (minimum of i5 8GB RAM)
Work Schedule - Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM Manila time
