Responsibilites:
- SEO Strategy & Implementation
- Conduct comprehensive SEO audits to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and execute effective on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
- Optimize website structure, meta tags, headers, and other on-page factors.
- Conduct keyword research to identify high-value search terms and align them with business objectives.
- Analyze competitor strategies to inform SEO planning.
- Leverage tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), Screaming Frog, SEMRush, Ahrefs, and SERanking to monitor and improve website performance.
- Content Creation, Copywriting & Optimization
- Plan, write, and optimise SEO-friendly website copy, blog posts, and articles.
- Perform SEO-focused copywriting to create engaging and search-engine-optimised content.
- Collaborate on content strategies to improve visibility and audience engagement.
- Ensure content is well-structured, compelling, and aligned with SEO goals.
- Format and publish content using WordPress page builders (e.g., Elementor, Beaver Builder, WP Bakery).
- Website Management
- Navigate the front end of WordPress websites to implement SEO recommendations, including optimizing on-page elements such as meta tags, headers, and internal linking.
- Ensure websites are technically optimized for SEO by addressing page speed, mobile responsiveness, and site structure.
- Collaborate with the content team to manage layout adjustments and upload SEO-friendly content, ensuring proper formatting and presentation on WordPress.
- Client Interaction & Project Management
- Participate in client meetings to present SEO strategies, updates, and results.
- Take ownership of client accounts, ensuring the timely implementation of SEO plans.
- Prepare performance reports with actionable insights to enhance rankings and visibility.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, addressing queries and feedback.
- Analytics & Reporting
- Generate and analyze performance reports using tools like Google Analytics and Google Data Studio.
- Monitor KPIs such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, conversion rates, and bounce rates.
- Conduct competitor analysis to benchmark performance and uncover new opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of proven SEO experience, preferably in an agency or managing multiple client accounts.
- Demonstrated expertise in on-page, off-page, and technical SEO with measurable results.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
- Proficiency in tools like SEMRush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics (GA4).
- Solid understanding of WordPress, including navigation and implementation using page builders.
- Knowledge of structured data (schema markup) and technical SEO best practices.
- Basic familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana). - Exposure to A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO)
- Advanced SEO copywriting skills for creating and optimizing web pages, blog posts, and articles.
- Experience in formatting, publishing, and presenting content using WordPress.
