About the Role We are looking for an experienced Shopify Operations & Merchandising Specialist to take full ownership of the day-to-day operations of a high-growth Shopify storefront. This is a hands-on role for someone who has independently managed a Shopify store—not someone who simply assisted. You'll be responsible for ensuring the storefront is accurate, optimized, and launch-ready at all times, managing everything from product updates and merchandising to promotions, pricing, quality assurance, and issue resolution.
What You'll Do:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of a Shopify storefront.
- Upload and maintain products, collections, and product detail pages (PDPs).
- Update homepage content, navigation, headers, footers, and merchandising layouts using Shopify's Theme Editor.
- Coordinate product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
- Ensure pricing, discounts, bundles, and promotions are accurate before launch.
- Perform quality assurance (QA) checks to prevent errors before changes go live.
- Identify and resolve broken links, 404 errors, and storefront issues.
- Maintain organized product information and merchandising assets.
- Support ongoing storefront updates while meeting tight deadlines.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience independently managing a Shopify store.
- Strong hands-on experience using Shopify Theme Editor without relying on a developer.
- Proven experience managing product catalogs, collections, merchandising, and storefront updates.
- Strong understanding of Shopify operations and e-commerce best practices.
- Excellent QA skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Amazon Seller Central.
- Experience managing TikTok Shop catalogs and order flows.
- Experience supporting high-volume e-commerce stores.
- Strong understanding of merchandising strategy and product launches.

Important Requirements To be considered, candidates must:
- Be available to work the required Pacific Time schedule.
- Have independently managed Shopify stores for 5+ years.
- Be able to confidently perform Shopify Theme Editor updates without developer assistance.
- Demonstrate a strong quality assurance process for product launches and storefront updates.
