As we continue to scale our digital content and expand our roster of artists, we are growing our video team to support increased production.
Role Overview We are seeking an
Intermediate Video Editor with strong
DaVinci Resolve skills to join our remote team. This role supports a high-volume content pipeline across YouTube, social media, online courses, and promotional content.
You will collaborate closely with the Online Operations Manager and other editors to deliver engaging, high-quality videos while maintaining a consistent brand style.
Key Responsibilities Video Editing & Post-Production - Edit both long-form and short-form video content using DaVinci Resolve
- Produce content for:
- Online courses and art tutorials
- YouTube videos
- Social media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
- Promotional and client-facing materials
- Perform color correction, audio cleanup, transitions, titles, and basic motion graphics
- Add subtitles and captions where required
Brand & Storytelling - Maintain and enhance the company’s visual identity and storytelling style
- Create engaging, story-driven edits that highlight artistic processes
- Collaborate on improving video formats, templates, and intros/outros
Collaboration & Feedback - Work closely with the Online Operations Manager and video team
- Take direction and feedback constructively; implement revisions efficiently
- Participate in regular team meetings aligned with New Zealand time zones
Workflow & File Management - Organize and manage project files in cloud-based systems
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Follow established workflows and contribute to process improvements
Requirements Technical Skills - Proven experience using DaVinci Resolve as a primary editing tool
- Strong understanding of:
- Editing fundamentals (pacing, storytelling, rhythm)
- Basic color grading and audio post-production
- Export settings for various platforms
- Reliable hardware for video editing (or willingness to use company-provided specs if applicable)
Experience - Intermediate-level editor:
- Able to work independently
- Open to feedback and direction
- Portfolio/showreel showcasing:
- Previous editing work
- Long-form and/or social media content
Soft Skills - Strong English communication skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable
- Comfortable working remotely with an international team
- Able to manage high-volume workloads in a fast-paced environment
Availability - Willing to work with New Zealand time zone overlap
- Flexible with working hours when required for collaboration
Nice-to-Have - Experience in art, design, creative industries, or online education
- Experience creating short-form vertical content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
- Basic motion graphics (lower thirds, title animations)
- Knowledge of social media video best practices
- Experience with subtitling/localization workflows
- Experience working with remote or outsourced teams
Work Schedule: 6:00 am - 3:00 pm
Work Setup: Home-based
