We are looking for an Outbound Recruitment Caller/Appointment Setter for one of our clients! You will be responsible for making outbound calls to a provided list of leads to promote open job opportunities, pre-qualify interested candidates, and schedule interviews with our internal hiring team. This is not a sales role; the focus is on recruitment outreach and appointment setting.
Key Responsibilities:● Make high-volume outbound calls to a pre-generated list of leads (no lead generation required)
● Clearly explain:
○ The company
○ The open positions and key role details
● Ask screening questions to assess candidate interest and basic fit
● Schedule interviews for interested and qualified candidates with the internal hiring team
● Accurately log call outcomes, notes, and next steps in the company's system
(Conveyor)
● Follow call scripts and training guidelines provided by the company
● Meet or exceed daily/weekly targets for:
○ Number of calls
○ Number of interested leads
○ Number of interviews scheduled
● Communicate regularly with the internal point of contact (Justin, Hiring Manager) on performance, challenges, and feedback from calls
Requirements:● Excellent spoken English with clear, neutral, and professional phone demeanor
● Proven experience in at least one of:
○ Outbound calling
○ Telemarketing / telesales
○ Customer service over the phone
○ Recruitment sourcing or appointment setting
● Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls and handling objections
● Strong listening and note-taking skills
● Basic computer literacy and ability to work with web-based tools (e.g., CRM, dialers, or calling platforms)
● Reliable internet connection and quiet, professional work environment for calls
● Willingness to work US business hours
Preferred Qualifications:● Prior experience in recruitment / staffing / appointment setting is a plus
● Experience working with US-based clients or in BPO/outsourcing environments
● Familiarity with VOIP/dialer tools (training and access will be provided as needed)
