Job Description
This position oversees timely and cost-effective purchasing, production, and global logistics operations including inventory coordination, vendor management, export compliance, cost control, reporting, and sales team collaboration across multiple international markets, with key performance indicators focused on process improvement, cost reduction, documentation accuracy, timely reporting, and sales support.
Key Responsibilities 1. Inventory Coordination & Production Tracking - Manage Sales Order Requests (SORs) from initiation to delivery, including special requirements (rework fees, labeling, ticketing).
- Track production progress and resolve Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) issues or discrepancies.
- Assist sales in redirecting unsold production to alternative customers.
2. Logistics & Trade Support - Plan and manage inventory flows from production hubs (China, Vietnam, Malaysia) to key markets (UK, Poland, Canada, US).
- Implement Just-in-Time (JIT) inventory strategies to optimize warehouse capacity.
- Coordinate multi-vendor consolidation plans and container utilization.
- Oversee inbound logistics, customs documentation, and compliance for international shipments.
- Maintain HS code setup in ERP systems and ensure all export documentation is accurate.
- Participate in holiday programs and brand launch logistics planning.
3. Cost & Invoice Management - Review and verify transportation, rework, and freight invoices.
- Ensure accurate landed cost rollups and resolve discrepancies with AP team.
- Handle credit/debit notes for under-shipments or failed testing adjustments.
4. Reporting & Data Management - Prepare daily Available-to-Promise (ATP) reports and weekly dashboards tracking inventory, purchasing, and forecasts.
- Perform ad hoc reporting and system updates as requested by management.
5. Sales Team Support - Conduct CBM (Cubic Meter) analysis for container planning.
- Review and update price lists, labels, UPCs, and carton dimensions for accuracy.
- Ensure licensing, labeling, and packaging compliance for international customers.
- Troubleshoot system discrepancies and support alignment between operational and sales data
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in international logistics, purchasing, or production coordination.
- Strong knowledge of global trade compliance, customs regulations, and export documentation.
- Proficiency in Excel (reporting, dashboards, data analysis) and ERP systems.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Experience coordinating multi-country shipments and vendor management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced international environment.
