The Finance Administrator is expected to support our finance team with day-to-day transactional and administrative duties. The Finance Administrator will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records,managing documentation and ensuring timely communication with subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities Accounts Administration - Reconcile receipts and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Process and code basic accounts payable transactions.
- Upload financial data and supporting documentation into internal systems.
- Enter data accurately and maintain comprehensive records.
- Collate documentation for customer and subcontractor invoices.
- Collect and manage subcontractor dockets for billing and audit purposes.
- Prepare and distribute subcontractor statements.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to vehicle registration and related documents.
Relationships & Teamwork - Support the Finance team in maintaining up-to-date and organized financial records.
- Maintain professionalism at all times.
- Establish and maintain effective communication to facilitate workflow.
- Perform other duties as directed by management.
Skills & Qualifications - Certificate or Diploma in Business, Finance, or Accounting (or currently studying) preferred.
- Experience in finance administration, accounts assistant, or similar role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, WorkflowMax) is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and effective time management.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Capable of managing multiple deadlines and prioritizing tasks efficiently.
