Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate Sales Representative who has an eagerness to learn about the telecommunications industry, including SIM-only plans and NBN services. This role is perfect for someone who may be new to the industry but is excited to build knowledge, understand customer needs, and deliver tailored solutions. You’ll receive comprehensive training on our offerings and industry trends to help you succeed.
Key Responsibilities: - Learn & Master Product Knowledge: Quickly get up to speed on mobile SIM plans and NBN internet services. Continuously expand your knowledge of the telecommunications industry to provide informed recommendations to customers.
- Customer Engagement: Respond to inbound inquiries through multiple channels (phone, email, chat) and assist customers in selecting the right mobile or internet plan.
- Sales Consultations: Engage with potential customers to understand their needs and recommend SIM-only plans and NBN services that provide the best value for them.
- Conversion & Sales Goals: Close sales by guiding prospects through the entire process, from inquiry to switch-over, while ensuring they feel confident and informed in their decision to choose.
- Educate Customers: Explain the benefits of SIM-only plans, NBN services, and other offerings, ensuring customers understand the value and how these services meet their needs.
- Customer Support: Provide post-sale support to ensure customers are satisfied with their new services and resolve any issues during the onboarding process.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest industry trends, product updates, and competitor offerings. Actively seek out new learning opportunities and participate in training sessions to deepen your telecommunications knowledge.
- Documentation & CRM Management: Track and record customer interactions, sales progress, and customer feedback in the CRM system, ensuring accurate follow-up and tracking.
- Collaboration with Team: Work closely with other team members to improve sales strategies and share insights, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Skills & Qualifications: - Passion to Learn: A genuine interest in learning about telecommunications services such as mobile plans and NBN internet services.
- Sales Experience (Preferred): Prior experience in sales or customer service, particularly in a remote setting, is required.
- Strong Communication Skills: The ability to engage with customers clearly and persuasively, both verbally and in writing.
- Problem-Solving: The ability to help customers navigate their challenges and recommend the right solutions.
- Self-Motivation: A proactive, self-driven attitude with the ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Customer-Centric Approach: A focus on providing exceptional service and ensuring customers feel valued and heard.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfort using CRM software, email, chat tools, and virtual meeting platforms.
- Positive Attitude: A willingness to adapt, learn, and grow within the telecommunications industry.
