The Client A Cincinnati-based design and development company, founded in 2016, specializes in helping businesses drive revenue, optimize processes, and enhance customer experiences through research, innovative design, and expert coding. They work with Fortune 500 companies, startups, and SMBs across various industries. With a team size of 11-50 employees, their expertise spans design, UX/UI, branding, front-end and back-end development, app creation, and conversion rate optimization.
The RoleWe are looking for a skilled Frontend WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WordPress and Elementor Pro, with the ability to translate designs from Figma into fully functional, responsive WordPress websites. You will be responsible for building new websites from scratch based on provided documentation and designs, as well as maintaining and updating existing client websites to meet their evolving needs.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop and launch new WordPress websites using Elementor Pro, based on provided designs and documentation.
- Convert pre-made assets from Figma into functional web pages.
- Conduct Q&A testing to ensure the website is fully functional and meets design specifications.
- Perform general updates and maintenance for existing WordPress sites.
- Troubleshoot and solve issues that arise with websites, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Collaborate closely with the design team to ensure all visual and functional aspects of the site align with the brand’s identity.
- Make consistent, smaller updates to existing websites as clients require new information or features.
- Stay up to date with the latest web development trends and best practices to continually improve website functionality and user experience.
Skills & Qualifications: - Proficiency in WordPress and Elementor Pro.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with Figma or similar design tools for converting assets into web pages.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Q&A testing to ensure website functionality and compatibility across different browsers and devices.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Nice to Have: - Experience with SEO best practices for WordPress sites.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of web performance optimization.
Work Schedule - Monday - Friday 1PM - 10PM Manila time
Work Location: - Permanent homebased; Must have strong internet connection
