The Client
The company provides global corporate verification services, offering software products and personnel for customer and employee onboarding, probity, and due diligence monitoring. They integrate technology and human expertise to deliver turnkey solutions for compliance, productivity, and risk management. Established in 2006, they offer both outsourced verification services and scalable software for large enterprises.

The Role
This is a newly created role where you will be responsible for designing, implementing and managing the automation framework for our QA process. This role requires a deep understanding of software testing, automation tools, and the ability to lead a team in driving efficiency and effectiveness in our QA practices.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, leadership experience and a passion for innovation.
  
Key Responsibilities
 
Strategy and Planning:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive QA automation strategy aligned with the company’s objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation into the development process (i.e. CI/CD pipeline).
• Evaluate and select appropriate automation tools and technologies.
• Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of the automation process.

Leadership and Team Management:

• Lead, mentor and grow a team of QA engineers focused on automation.
• Provide guidance and technical direction to the team implementing automated tests.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, quality and excellence within the QA team.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and identify training needs to upskill the team.

Execution and Delivery:

• Oversee the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts and testing suites.
• Ensure that automated testing covers all aspects of product functionality, performance and security.
• Monitor and report on automation progress, coverage and outcomes to stakeholders.
• Identity areas of the testing process that can be improved through automation and lead the implementation of these improvements.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations, provide updated and gather feedback.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure the smooth integration of automation into the development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning and other activities.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in QA automation.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the automation framework and processes.
• Lead initiatives to explore and adopt new tools, techniques and methodologies that can improve the efficiency of the QA process.

Technical Skills

•  Working experience with one or more of the following test tools and frameworks: Selenium, JMeter, Gatling, Spock
• Expertise in testing using Data Expectations for Data Quality purposes.
• Experience in Software Development Testing (Unit testing, Acceptance Testing UI automation, API testing, Performance Testing)
• Experience in researching and evaluating new QA automation tools and process
• Experience setting up Testing Frameworks from scratch with the ability to determine and analyse various tools and concepts.
• Ability to define and participate in high-level testing strategy discussions.
• Ability to organize and lead complex discussions around solutions QA processes and automation tools.
• Knowledge of manual testing concepts such as exploratory testing
• Strong experience working with cross-browser testing
• Demonstrable experience working with NoSQL databases
•  Experience working in an Agile environment

Work Schedule:   

•   Monday- Friday 6am-3pm PH time PH Time

Work Location:     

• Homebased; must have strong internet connection.
