Senior Tax Accountant

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships
- Prepare and review client Trial Balances and make necessary Tax Adjustments
- Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide tax planning and advisory services to clients to minimize tax liabilities and maximize financial benefits
- Prepare and review financial statements and accounting records to identify potential tax issues or opportunities
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with tax regulations
 
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years’ experience in tax accounting
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
- Proficiency in using tax software, such as UltraTax and other Thomson Reuters products
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
