Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Review:
• Review and analyze financial statements from international entities to ensure
accuracy and compliance with local and international accounting standards.
• Identify discrepancies and work with local accounting personnel to resolve any
issues.
• Coordinate month-end close and ensure meeting deadlines and accurate reporting.
• Review monthly roll forwards and reconciliation.
2. Data Analysis:
• Perform detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for
improvement.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and dashboards to communicate financial
performance to management.
3. Collaboration:
• Liaise with local accounting teams to provide guidance and support on financial
reporting and compliance matters.
• Collaborate closely with the FP&A team to align financial forecasts with actual
performance and assist in budgeting processes
4. Stakeholder Communication:
• Regularly communicate with the Sr Accounting Manager & Director of Accounting to
provide updates on international financial performance and key issues.
• Help in preparing presentations for senior management to highlight financial
insights and recommendations.
5. Process Improvement:
• identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency
across international operations.
• Implement best practices in financial reporting and analysis.
Qualifications:
o Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or
equivalent certification is preferred.
o 5+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on international finance and
consolidation.
o Strong understanding of international accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP)
and local regulatory requirements.
o Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
o Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP
systems is a plus such as Great Plains.
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate
effectively across cultures and time zones.
o Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
and meet deadlines.
