About the client (AU)A leading construction and fit-out specialist in Australia, known for delivering high-quality projects across various sectors. We pride ourselves on innovation, precision, and excellence in every aspect of our work. We are currently seeking an experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team.
Role Overview:The Estimator will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of projects related to ceilings, partitions, and cladding. This role requires an in-depth understanding of ceiling and partition elements, various cladding types, and estimating methods. The ideal candidate will have significant experience working in the Australian construction industry and will be proficient with estimating software.
Key Responsibilities:Ceiling and Partition Estimation: - Prepare accurate estimates for ceiling and partition projects.
- Familiarity with elements such as plasterboard, villa board, wall/ceiling junctions, and steel framing for ceilings and partitions.
Cladding Estimation: - Estimate costs for various cladding types, ensuring adherence to project specifications and standards.
- Understand different cladding systems and their associated framing requirements.
Estimating Software and Methods: - Utilize estimating software and methodologies to generate precise cost estimates.
- Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare detailed estimates.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure estimates align with project goals and budgets.
Collaboration and Communication: - Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and clients to obtain accurate pricing and cost information.
- Provide clear and concise communication of estimates and project costs to all relevant parties.
Qualifications and Experience: - Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Estimator in the Australian construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of ceiling and partition elements, including plasterboard, villa board, wall/ceiling junctions, and steel framing.
- Extensive experience with various cladding types and their associated framing systems.
- Proficiency in using estimating software and methodologies.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work Schedule - Monday to Friday (6AM-3PM; Manila Time)
Work Setup (WFH) - Permanent Homebased
- Candidates are requried to have their personal device at home
