The Role We are seeking a Fullstack Python Developer with a solid understanding of relational databases. Experience in front end development with React is a definite plus.
Key Responsibilities - Develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable Python applications.
- Implement function UIs with JavaScript and React.
- Integrate multiple database types and cloud storage platforms.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
- Use GitLab for version control, using correct branching, rebasing and merging techniques.
- Debug and troubleshoot software issues, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Write and maintain clear, concise documentation for code, processes, and workflows.
- Implement automated unit and integration tests.
Qualifications: - 3 years+ of professional experience as a Python developer.
- Proficient in Python and familiar with frameworks such as Django or Flask.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and knowledge of SQL.
- Familiarity with SQLAlchemy is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of React and experience building user interfaces.
- Knowledge of version control systems, particularly GitLab.
- Experience with code reviews, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good time management skills when working remotely.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with cloud platforms (especially AWS)
- Familiarity with containerisation technologies like Docker.
- Understanding of agile development methodologies.
Work Schedule: - Monday- Friday 6am-3pm PH time
