The Automation QA is responsible for designing, developing, & maintaining test automation frameworks & scripts for the company's software products. This individual will work closely with development & QA teams & the Head of QA to ensure that software releases meet quality standards & are free from defects. The Automation QA will also assist with manual testing efforts where required.
Key Responsibilities:
·        Design, implement automation strategies, plans & frameworks.
·        Identify & report defects & work with dev teams to ensure and track resolution to the standard format.
·        Continuously improve test automation processes & tools
·        Stay up to date with the latest testing methodologies & technologies.
·        Train & mentor other team members on automated testing tools & techniques – this includes helping manual testing efforts become more efficient & where possible how to run automated tests from the pipelines.
·        Communicate effectively with stakeholders & other teams, & provide regular updates on testing progress
·        Assisting & coordinating deployments including to production environments
·        Ensure work is logged for regular QA team status reporting for assigned projects.
·        Ensure project deliverables are met & delivered on time for each project & test phase. Escalate any blockers or slippage to Head of QA where appropriate.
·        Provide forecasted & actual test estimates to contribute to overall project or change planning timelines & resource requirements specifically for required testing cycles based on approved entry & exit criteria.
·        Work across teams & projects, even though maybe primarily assigned to a project, cross-project collaboration is expected.
·        Work to and improve the QA strategy
Essential skills:
·        Experience with JMeter
·        Experience with playwright or K6 testing frameworks
·        Experience with Selenium automation testing framework (desired in C# language)
·        Experience with Azure Devops pipelines & CI/CD - running automation tests, shift left
·        Experience with API, Postman testing, & SQL database testing – understanding security testing involved
·        Experience with & an understanding of the scope of NFRs, what that involves & how to test.
Qualifications/skills:
·        3+ years of experience in software development / testing / automation
·        Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
·        Strong critical thinking skills & diligence.
·        Proactive mindset & creating automation before the application is ready to run.
·        Experience with TDD processes
·        Open & strong verbal & written communication skills
·        Strong problem-solving & analytical abilities
·        Thorough understanding of structured test methods & processes covering manual & automated testing
·        Experience with JIRA, Confluence &/or TestRail is desired.
  
  
Must be willing to work Monday - Friday 1pm - 10pm Manila Time

Must be comfortable working Homebased BUT must be willing to work Hybrid during Training period and must be open to visit Eastwood office once a month for collaboration with the team
